Chris Evans Extended His Marvel Contract

Chris Evans Extended His Marvel Contract

When Chris Evans originally signed on for the role of Captain America, Evans feared what would come next because of two poorly received Fantastic Four films from Fox, the actor had comic book world feared, and feared signing onto another project of comic book world with multiple film commitments especially when that contract called for six appearances. Fast forward to 2017, the actor has since changed his tone significantly. After completing a trilogy of Captain America films, and already having filmed two Avengers films with it having already been confirmed that he’ll next appear in Avengers: Infinity War, Evans’ original contract is finished, but his time with Marvel isn’t over just yet. With his original contractual obligations completed, the actor explained why he agreed to extend his contract with Marvel Studios for one more film.

Evan said in Interview - "I had six films in my marvel contract so I could have said
after it's a third Avengers I was done but they wanted to make third and fourth Avengers
films as a two-parter. They said they had so many other characters to fit in – Guardians
of the Galaxy, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Ant Man – and couldn’t get
them all into one movie.”

Finally Chris agreed because it made sense it's going to wrap Everything up.
