Doctors found that Meegan body was unable to break down protein.
Meegan Hefford, a mother of two children and a paramedic trainer.
Meegan was getting ready for his bodybuilding competition in September for which she had been following a strict diet.
She was consuming high levels of protein from shakes, supplements and protein rich foods.
Meegan Hefford was suffering from a condition called Urea Cycle disorder (UCD), which is genetic.
Roughly very few people have UCD and they do not know. The condition causes a build-up of ammonia in the blood and accumulation of fluid in the brain, which eventually leads to brain damage.
Meegan death certificated list UCD as well as an "intake of bodybuilding supplements" as causes of death.
Meegan has also donated her heart, lungs and kidneys.
I know there are people other than Meegan who have ended up in hospital because they've overloaded on supplements
